Mission
My mission is to inspire people to identify and achieve their personal, professional and financial goals and dreams.
I do this by meeting with them once or twice a year for an hour, taking them off the treadmill of life and asking them to dream courageously about what they want to accomplish in their lives.
We quantify goals together and assess current progress toward those goals. I prepare a written brief summary of their goals, and then help them to take immediate steps to achieve those goals. The reasons people fail to achieve their goals and dreams are procrastination, lack of a vision and lack of a plan.
I deliver state-of-the art solutions in a caring, professional and enthusiastic atmosphere. I welcome the opportunity to discuss your dreams!
Background
My undergraduate degree is in business administration and journalism. I worked in the advertising, marketing and media business in Denver, CO before becoming director of sales and advertising for Vail and Beaver Creek Resorts, CO for ten years prior to establishing my practice in 1995. My experience in the investment and financial industry as a non-professional investor provides me with more than 25 years experience in the investment and insurance markets. What began as a hobby became a career when I decided to start my financial services practice in 1995.
To enhance my capacity for helping my clients reach their dreams, I have obtained the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation. I am also securities licensed. I´ve completed certificate programs in Business Insurance and Estate Planning and I am a graduate of the Career Study School at Northwestern Mutual, Milwaukee, WI.
